Global ACI 2026 Mid-Term Meetings Held in Prague

Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI) recently held its 2026 Mid-Term Meetings in Prague, Czech Republic from 20-26 April 2026, bringing together more than 300 representatives from accreditation bodies, regional cooperation bodies and stakeholder organisations from across the global accreditation community.

 

The meetings included sessions of the Executive Committee, Arrangement Committee, Accreditation Committee, Technical Committees 1-3, Stakeholder Committee, Communication Committee, Development Support Committee and the Global ACI General Assembly. Discussions focused on technical, operational and strategic matters related to accreditation, conformity assessment and the continued implementation of the Global ACI Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MRA).

 

At the General Assembly, Global ACI Members heard presentations from representatives of international partner organisations, including Cristina Draghici (ISO/CASCO Secretary), Silvio Dulinsky (ISO Deputy Secretary General), Bobjoseph Mathew (CIML President), Amelia Espinoza Tiffer (UNIDO Industrial Development Expert), Olivier Rabin (WADA Senior Director of Science and Medicine) and Philip Grinsted (World Bank Private Sector Specialist). Members welcomed the recent signature of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with ISO, OIML and WADA, strengthening international cooperation on accreditation and conformity assessment.

 

The Prague meetings were the first in-person meetings held by Global ACI since the organisation became fully operational on 1 January 2026.
