The transition process described in MRA-006 Annex 1 begins once the Global ACI MRA Mark becomes legally available in an economy and formal notification has been issued by the Secretariat.

At the same time, use of the Global ACI MRA Mark remains subject to the applicable approval requirements established in MRA-006.

Accreditation bodies are encouraged to complete the necessary preparations as early as practicable following notification by the Secretariat. Likewise, accredited conformity assessment bodies (CABs) should work with their accreditation body to facilitate implementation of the Global ACI MRA Mark.

Global ACI, accreditation bodies and accredited CABs are expected to cooperate to facilitate an orderly transition and minimise any delay between the legal availability of the Global ACI MRA Mark and its implementation.
