The legal availability of the Global ACI MRA Mark in an economy, together with formal notification from the Secretariat, only triggers the transition process described in MRA-006 Annex 1.

The use of the Global ACI MRA Mark remains subject to the applicable approval requirements established in MRA-006.

For accreditation bodies, this includes:

• submission of an example of the Combined Global ACI MRA Mark;
• execution of FMRA-005; and
• approval by the Global ACI Secretariat.

For accredited conformity assessment bodies (CABs), this includes:

• authorisation by their accreditation body;
• submission of an example of the Combined Mark;
• acceptance of the applicable conditions of use; and
• approval by the accreditation body.

Accreditation bodies and CABs should complete these approval processes as part of their transition arrangements following notification by the Secretariat.
