14 April 2026 – Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, the single international accreditation organisation that commenced operations on 1 January 2026, is now represented under the acronym Global ACI.
Global ACI (pronounced ‘Global A-C-I’), has introduced a new logo, website and official social media channels.
The new acronym, visual identity and digital platforms provide a clear and consistent way to represent Global ACI and support communication across accreditation bodies, stakeholders, regional cooperation bodies and the wider conformity assessment community.
‘Global ACI’s work depends on trust, cooperation and clarity across the global accreditation community. This update supports how we communicate that work and continue strengthening confidence in accredited conformity assessment globally,’ said Brahim Houla, Global ACI Chair.
Global ACI’s new website, www.global-aci.org, serves as a hub for information on membership, documents and the Global ACI Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MRA). The website also provides access to news, frequently asked questions and other resources related to accreditation.
Official updates will now also be shared through Global ACI’s social media channels.
Global ACI was established to bring together the work of the International
Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), ensuring one organisation, one governance framework and one MRA providing a single, clearer pathway for mutual recognition of accredited assessment results.
